Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23

Bible Studies Focusing on the New Testament/Covenant

The New Testament is not just a bunch of writings/letters folded together in a book we call a "Bible". This book we call a Bible actually contains the writings which lead us to understand the New Covenant/Testament in which Jesus Shed His Blood for so that we might experience fellowship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  Part of the good news is that we all have a choice to enter through the Door to our Father and that door is Jesus Christ. Not your pastor, your parents, your family or anyone else. It's through Jesus. So regardless of what you've been told, you can experience the "reality of the Spirit of life which sets us free from the reality of sin and death that's in us". Romans 8:2 If you are not experiencing that reality, it may be that the word (seed) you have adhered to is corrupt. If that's the case, let us be Born Again of the Spirit (in our thinking, understanding and heart) by "receiving with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls." James 1:21

Gospel Core PDF Study sheet

Jesus clearly told Nicodemus, a teacher, that in order to see (perceive) the Kingdom of God, a person must be Born Again (afresh, anew). Jesus also clarified that this understanding was a work of the Holy Spirit. We as believers must have an understanding of the core principles of the Faith (Gospel) and we must adhere strictly to them in our lives by example.  As we grow in our fellowship with God and the knowledge of Jesus Christ, we will come to a place of maturity where God can use us to Love the World as He loves the World (Jn 3:16-21) as well as Love and edify the Church.  How? If we understand the Covenant and our part of the Covenant Communion, we enter into a closer relationship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  We will not be so easily swayed once we get so close to God we know with surety that we know Him and Love Him.

Matthew 13: 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
